                           FUNDAMENTAL OF COMPUTER


Computer :- It is an electronic device which takes input                                from user process it and give output.




Keyboard :- it is an input device that containes various                               keys by which helps to feed the data into the                           computer.

                    :- There are various layout of keyboard such as                            QWERTY, QWERTZ, AZERTY and DVORAK.

                    :- A standard keyboard has 101 to 106 keys.

                    :- Keyboard was invented by christopher latham                        shoules.



Mouse :- It is an input device or hand-held device.

              :- A mouse has two buttons and one scrool wheel                       where one button is left click and one right click.

              :- It is invented by doglears engelbart.



Joystick :- It is a pointing device.

                :- It is used to playing games.



Scanner :- it is an input device that scan data in the form of                     image.

                 :- It scane documents information by sensing the                         reflection after imits ray.

                 :- There are two types of scanner :-

                                                          1. hand-held scanner

                                                          2. flatbed scanner.



OMR(Optical Mark reader) :- It stands for optical mark                                                             reader.

                                                  :- It is an input device.

                                                  :- It detects mark on paper.

                                                  :- It is used to evalluat OMR                                                             sheet. 



OCR(Optical character Reader) :- It stands for Optical                                                                        Character reader.
